REC Limited approved a loan worth 279 billion Indian rupees (approximately US$380.9 million) to Jammu Kashmir Electric Power Company (JKPCL). This agreement was signed by the Jammu and Kashmir governments, JKPCL, REC and Power Finance Co., Ltd. (PFC).
