Lombardy Increased an Appropriation of 20 Million Euros for the Development of Rooftop Photovoltaic and Energy Storage Systems

As the richest and most active region in Italy , Lombardy's government announced an additional 20 million euros to promote the application of energy storage systems in residential and commercial photovoltaic arrays . The Italian government allocates to 2-5 million euros for this plan every year .
This appropriation will be planned for two different projects:
1.Install photovoltaic system connected to energy storage system
The subsidy is mainly used for procurement and installation costs, and the subsidy can reach 50%. In particular, for projects developed in small cities, the subsidy ratio can be increased to 90%.
2.Deploy an independent energy storage system connected to the existing solar array
Subsidies for such projects will cover 100% of the cost. 50% of the approved subsidy will be paid in 2021. As long as the project is completed, the remaining part will be paid in 2022.
