According to the latest IRENA report, Jordan 's share of renewable energy power grew from almost zero in 2014 to about 20 per cent in 2020. However, in its report entitled ' Jordanian Renewable Energy Preparatory Assessment ', developed in cooperation with the Jordanian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Irena noted that the private sector would have an opportunity to participate in supporting national energy projects to help generate 31 per cent of national renewable energy generation.
