Italy Signs International Solar Alliance Agreement

On March 17, Italy and India signed the ISA framework agreement. According to the embassy statement, the agreement was signed by the Italian Ambassador to India, Vincenzo de Luca, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Southeast Asian States.

The embassy says solar energy is Italy ' s second largest source of electricity and will become its main source by 2030. At the same time, Italy has agreed with partners at global forums such as the G20, IEA and IRENA to prioritize clean energy transformation.
